All Artec manifolds are designed using CFD software to ensure they maximize flow, which, in combination with their revolutionary cast stainless steel construction, ensures that not only do you get he most power, but also the most reliability

When Artec looked at the Evo manifold design, they had an objective: to reduce manifold internal volume to sharpen response and to also keep it as high flowing as possible. To do this they used a non tradition (in the aftermarket) reverse rotation design. This allowed them to NOT to use tight radius bends where other have to because standard rotation turbos put the turbine inlet flange closer to the block. Interestingly enough, Mitsubishi did the same with the OEM equipment. With this design, they were able to mount the turbo low and eliminate any tight bend radius’ and keep the manifold very compact. To further improve spool and transient throttle response, they have incorporated 33mm runners.
