LS the world!.. Oh wait.. what about this crazy 4.2 litre? It’s significantly less expensive to build to huge power levels than the LS… So, if you want power and don’t want to break the bank, this could be the engine/manifold combination for you. This engine has now been tested to 700whp (and still held together) through an automatic and has been documented by Calvin over at the Nivlac57 YouTube Chanel. According to Artec – “Not one person asked for this!” BUT, this engine has not received the attention it deserves, simply because of its budget/power ratio. The engine itself, in North America (apparently the Aussies have this in a quite a few vehicles) came in the Chevy Blazer, only. Much effort was put into this to make sure it would adapt to the LHD format. This has been designed to accept up to the larger frame @garrettmotion G45’s, @precisionturbo 75’s and 85’s as well as @borgwarnerboosted S400’s. Again we have machined the manifold to suit a @turbosmarthq 50mm wastegate, but can run a 60 if you cut the flange off (as the runner is designed to flow the 60).
